Jesse is a world champion kiteboarder and thrill seeker at heart. Brought up as a waterman in Hawaii, Jesse goes after the extreme side of the sport; riding big waves, boosting big airs and going for big challenges. He currently holds the tow up height world record and hang time world record in kiteboarding. Jesse couldn't be more stoked to push his limits and kite with the group, farther then anyone else has kited before, not only for himself but for the cause that this expedition stands for. As a professional athlete a fully functioning body is everything, MND (ALS) and other Neurological diseases can attack anyone at will and take all of that away. Jesse believes in the research that Dr.Nicholas Cole is heading up at Macquarie University and is honored to support the team.

Dr. Nick leads his research team at the Macquarie University Motor Neurone Disease Research Centre. He loves his job and is driven by a passion to make Motor Neurone Disease a disease of history. Outside his day job Nick does pretty well in almost everything, he loves to live life to its fullest. Kite crossing of the Torres Strait in 2013 under his belt, organising kite the GBR has been on his radar for some time.
